THE CULTURAL ESTABLISHMENT OF OUR NATIONAL IDEALIZED IDENTITY ~ A RITE OF PASSAGE.

We invite you to become a part of an epic adventure into the heart of a National Treasure.

It is a forgotten chronicle so uniquely American that the folktales could only be contained within a series

of profound parabolic passages, seasonal event-filled novellas, and philosophical pantomime odysseys.

`A Mudvillian theatre filled with our nostalgic past; A docudrama-comedy where our cast of poetical characters and notable team players will lead you through a series of lyrical, satirical, heroic, tragic, controversial, and thought-provoking storylines. The themes are reminiscent of and rewarding to the celebrations and birthrights of `A nation and its unending saga of bonding an immigrant people.

CASEY AT THE BAT

A Ballad  of the Republic Sung in the Year 1888

The monumental story of struggle, growth, and reflection of our newly formed Reconstructed-Republic.

The telling offers insights into the poem and its paternal parent, Ernest Lawrence Thayer while embodying his life's work. "The Ballads of the Republic."

Revealing his many unheard folktales, prose, and poetic musings, which have been hidden or censored powerless in our past and present-day historical and literary journals. For some protagonist-being:

WHEN MY PRAYERS WERE EARLY SAID,

WHO TUCKED ME IN MY WIDDLE BED,

AND SPANKED ME BUTT TILL IT  WAS WED?

AND SAT ME ON ICE COLD POT,

AND MADE ME "P" IF I COULD NOT'

AND WHEN THE MORNING LIGHT HAD COME,

IN MY WIDDLE CWIB, I'D DRIBBLE SOME,

WHO WIPED MY TINY WIDDLE BUM?

ME MUDDER

WHO DID MY HAIR SO NEATLY PART

AND PRESSED ME GENTLY TO HER HEART

AND SOMETIMES SQUEEZE ME TILL I'D F___?

Casey ~ The Cultural Icon

  • Over a hundred million Americans have read, memorized, or recited the famous baseball lyric "Casey at the Bat."  Respectively, over a billion have witnessed its performance play out on the dramatic stage of our lives and our time.    JohnMichael

  • When you come to analyze it, its subject is the same subject that has inspired the epic and the ballad-poetry of the past-the prowess or the defeat of the strong man striving against the odds.     Dr. Harry Thurston Peck

  • I had an epic written that I thought would never die,  Where they'd build a statue for me with its head against the sky; I said, "This will live forever"-but I've canned it in the vat. For here's a guy who never heard of ...

     "Casey at the Bat."

They enter 'the classroom' and are greeted by a mighty shout and stamp of applause. Then ~ Silence, and there it begins;

A reflective hour of description, analysis, anecdote, and harmless pun, which bathes the dry bones with poetic imagery, enlivens a hard fatiguing day with humor, and brightens to the tired listener's soul the details of pithy, yet profound, engaging study.
